Ancient Greek - (Greek Mythology)

As you know, in Humanities we have recently been studying the topic Ancient Greek. And a subject that we spent a long time discussing and debating about was Greek Mythology. - And how the Greek population/ citizens believed and worshipped multiple Gods.

But before knowing about Greek Mythology you have to know a little about the history of Ancient Greece and the different city-states and different citizens:

According to research from now, it is said that Greek had many different city-states (nowadays, we call this different states), and 2 main city-states in Greece were Athens and Sparta. Athens was a place of wealth. A community that was very rich, powerful and wealthy. They had speciality in many different areas consisting of; architecture, art, drama, literature, philosophy, medicine, politics and science. The food that was served were mostly consisted of luxuries.
- In Athens there were 3 different types of people.
There were the Citizens, who were the people born in Athens and only consisted of men (as in the old times only men had political power.)
Metics were people who were born outside of Athens, were free people but had to pay taxes, and could not own any land in Athens.
And last but not least the Slaves. The Slaves were people who were the captured people from war. The population of the Metics and Slaves put together made up half the Athenian society.

In Sparta, there are also 3 different types of people.
Equals -  They were the people who controlled Sparta.
Half citizens -  free people, but had to pay taxes. They served in the army, but had no political power at all.
And the Helots. - The Helots are same as slaves, but just called differently in Sparta. And they had no rights at all.
Sparta was a very small populated city-state. And most of the men who were born in Sparta were sent to Military barracks at the age of 7, as they needed to be well-prepared for war at anytime, anywhere.

Despite the differences between both city-states. They all were entailed to believe and worship Gods. The commonly known God in all of Greece was Zeus, (God of all Gods). And every God lived in a mountain by the name of Mt. Olympus. And any citizen who dared to visit the Mt. Olympus was never to be found again. And that made citizens of Athens and Sparta, to Macedonia, and the whole entire Greece believe in Gods.
